After a hard fought battle and less than thousands of votes cast, Ciñderella story Guido Quesada vaulted past Gene Dhooge in yesterday's play-in game and into the Big Dance. He'll have a day to rest before taking on 1-seed Peter Art tomorrow as the Norwood region begins tournament play. Tremendous.
And now let's get to today's meat - CANTON REGION, OPENING ROUND.
That's right, sports fans, it's time to vote once again. The day promises some incredible match-ups:
- Can favorite Maryluz Bravo-Axline handle Ryan Nolan's underdog heat?
- Who will come out on top when April Chisam takes on Brian Beerman?
- Our under-the-radar special features Pina "Colada" Dunklee up against Rick "Don't Hassle The" Vandekerkhoff
- And in the "What's your pornstar name?" matchup of the day we have Scott Gooch vs. Annastasia Grillo
It's always a difficult draw when you pull an adverb. Especially when that adverb is punctuated with such a sweet, sweet forename. And how can vote against The Beerman? I mean, anyone that made it through college with that name without become a) the obvious or b) the other obvious thing associated with such a name is well-worth the vote.
